Frequently asked questions

The questions players ask most, answered plainly. For anything else, write to us.

Choosing a racquet

Which racquet should I choose?

If you’re unsure, choose DROP: suited to more games and more levels, with the same answer however the ball is met. Choose APEX if you play from the net, finish points overhead and want the power to match.

What’s the difference between APEX and DROP?

APEX has a teardrop head with the sweet spot set high, which gives you more power. DROP has a round head with the sweet spot in the centre and a larger effective hitting area, for easier control. You can compare them side by side on either product page.

Do you offer different grip sizes?

Both racquets come in one grip size; an overgrip builds the handle up for a thicker feel.

Technology

What is KRS?

KRS stands for Kinetic Recovery System: the integrated formula of the carbon material and foam core, tuned to recover more energy without compromising speed, especially for the hardest of shot recoveries. KRS is set firm on APEX and more open on DROP. It is separate from ACD, the dampener in the APEX throat, which settles the frame after impact.

What is TORq?

TORq is surface roughness that creates spin when you need it to add more versatility to your game. Currently on APEX only.

Orders and delivery

When will my Set01 pre-order be dispatched?

Set01 racquets are sold on pre-order and are dispatched within 4–5 weeks of your order. Payment is taken when you order. You can cancel at any time before dispatch for a full refund.

How long does delivery take?

Items in stock are dispatched within 48 hours in the UK and usually arrive two to three working days later. Delivery is free. See delivery and returns for full details.

Do you ship outside the UK?

Yes, worldwide. Shipping costs for international orders are calculated at checkout.

Can I return my order?

Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return an unused racquet for a full refund. We cover the cost of return postage.

How do I pay?

Payment is handled by Shopify on their secure checkout page. We never see or store your card details.

Product care

How should I look after my racquet?

Keep the racquet out of prolonged heat and store the racquet dry between sessions. A fresh overgrip keeps the hold certain in the hand.

What does the warranty cover?

Both racquets come with a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Normal wear and tear and damage from play are outside the warranty. If your racquet is damaged in play, get in touch with your order number and photographs. It falls outside the warranty, but we’ll assess it and make you a special offer on your next order. T&Cs apply. This offer is at Corsair’s discretion, is valid until 30 June 2027 and may change at any time without prior notice. Please check this page for the latest.

Trade and bulk orders

Do you offer trade pricing for clubs or distributors?

Yes. Orders of nine racquets or more qualify for trade pricing. See trade and distribution.
